There's not a whole lot to tell. I'm a fairly typical person. I grew up in a middle class family, the oldest of two children. Back in those days, my mom was a stay-at-home mom. We lived outside of a small town and had about an acre of ground. It was enough room for me to have a horse and dogs.
I have one sister who is nine years younger than I am so the sibling bonding was more picking on her than bonding. We were in different spaces in time.
About Off the Fence - Disability Advocacy
This was a labor of love. It was my therapy for years before it was even a book. I wrote stories about what it was like to have two kids with disabilities.
